Ingredients

2 pounds Yellow Squash

8 ounces Sharp Cheddar, grated

1/3 cup Romano or Parmesan, grated

1/3 cup Onion, chopped

1/2 cup Butter (divided - 6 T and 2 T)

1 cup Sour Cream

1 cup Bread Crumbs, buttered

Preparation

Slice squash, boil until soft

With a potato masher, mash hot squash with butter.

Add onions, cheeses, sour cream and mix well.

Melt remaining 2 T butter and mix with bread crumbs.

Put squash mixture into buttered baking dish. Top with crumbs.
