Ingredients

4 cornish game hens

1 salt and pepper to taste

1/3 cup butter, melted

1/4 cup consomne

1/4 cup corn syrup

1 1/3 cups Celery Stuffing; Celery chopped

1/3 cup onion chopped

3 tablespoons butter

1 1/2 cups mushrooms, sliced, broiled

Preparation

Season hens inside and out with salt and pepper. Stuff lightly with celery stuffing (see below)

Place brests side up in a shallow pan. Brush with butter, roast at 350 degrees for 1/12 hours or until tender. Last 30 minutes paste with consommeand corn syrup

Cook celery, onion and mushrooms in butter until tender not brown 4-5 minutes.
