Just for fun I polled my readers of my Facebook group recently and asked them what food they hated as a kid and still hate now. I got lots of replies about liver and onions, which was one of my favourite foods from childhood. I loved my grandad making it for me and my parents were always disgusted when I asked for it at home. Clearly, they were also on the liver and onions hater list. But my biggest hate as a kid which I actually like now was KFC. They would be one when we stopped for food when travelling and I would look at the other outlets and find something else other than KFC. I hated chicken on the bone and the thought of it filled me with dread. But fast forward a few years and the hubby took me to KFC and promised me that they did a good amount of yummy chicken off the bone. Well I fell in love. Loved the crispy chicken. Loved the seasoning. Loved that I got a side of corn on the cob and loved the idea of going back again and again. Well the boneless chicken that the hubby introduced me to at KFC was popcorn chicken and that started my popcorn chicken addiction.
