Ingredients

3 1/2 cups Flour

1 teaspoon Baking Powder

1 teaspoon Salt

1 1/2 cups Butter [softened]

1 cup Sugar

2 Egg

2 teaspoons Vanilla

1 Jams ( for filling) {use different flavors]

Preparation

  1. Whisk flour, baking powder, and salt.

  2. In another bowl, beat butter and sugar until pale and fluffy. [about 5 minutes]

  3. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Add dry ingredients gradually.

  4. Make into 1" balls on cookie sheets. Press a finger into the center of each ball. Fill with jam.

  5. Bake 13 - 14 minutes till the edges are golden brown.

  6. Cool on wire racks.
