This chicken marinade contains a simple recipe for only 3 ingredients: maple, mustard, and red wine vinegar. I decided to make the recipe a step farther and wrap bacon around it. Because my love for bacon will never die. Back in 2012 this was a trending recipe on Pinterest and since then, there are many other recipes on there now labeled World’s Best Chicken which are completely different from this recipe. Another name you might know of is “Man Pleasing Chicken.” If you love chicken recipes be sure to check out my other recipes for chicken below.
Ingredients
Are you wondering why I chose an ingredient or wondering what else you can use? Check out this section here. Chicken - can use breasts or thighs (boneless) Bacon - Try not to use any bacon that has been flavored. Maple - Only use pure maple syrup. If you are diabetic or following WW sugar-free can be used. Mustard - I used dijon mustard, but some other mustards that would work well with this would be honey mustard or a spicy mustard to give it a little kick. Apple Cider Vinegar - adds a nice little sweetness to the marinade, red wine vinegar can also be subbed.
How to Make the World’s Best Chicken
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper on each side. Wrap bacon around the chicken breast. Secure with a toothpick and set the chicken in a 9X13 in a casserole dish. Bake for 30 minutes or until a meat thermometer reads 165 degrees. Season with rosemary. 6 Servings total, Serving Size: 1 chicken thigh.
Grilled Chicken
In the Summertime try grilling this recipe. Marinate the chicken in a zip lock freezer bag. Then follow your grill’s instructions for cooking chicken. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and cook the chicken until it reaches 165 degrees. For air fryer chicken breasts just follow this recipe below and use my recipe for cooking chicken breasts in the Air Fryer. Place some parchment on the bottom of the air fryer so that the marinade doesn’t drip to the bottom. Air Fryer Chicken Breast
