Ingredients

3 cups Flour

3 teaspoons Baking Powder

1 teaspoon Salt

1 tablespoon Sugar

1 teaspoon Garlic Powder

1/2 teaspoon Paprika

1 cup Beer

1 Egg [large]

6 ounces Cream Cheese [softened to room temperature]

10 slices Bacon [cooked and crumbled]

4 Jalapenos [ seeded, chopped ]

1 + cup Sharp Cheddar [shredded]

1 Salt and Pepper [to taste]

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 375. Line a loaf pan with parchment paper.

  2. In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, garlic powder, paprika, beer, and egg. Mix till thoroughly combined.

  3. In a medium bowl combine cream cheese, bacon, chopped jalapenos, and cheddar. Season with salt and pepper. Stir until completely combined. Save about 3 TBS.

  4. Fold cream cheese mix into the dough until just combined. Do not over mix.

  5. Pour dough into loaf pan. Sprinkle top with reserved bacon , cheese , jalapeno mix.

  6. Bake 60 minutes. Cool and serve.
