Ingredients
1 cup Butter
4 Eggs (room temp)
3 cups Flour
2 teaspoons Cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1/2 teaspoon Cloves (ground)
2 cups Walnuts (chopped)
2 cups Brown Sugar
1 teaspoon Vanilla
2 teaspoons Baking Soda
1/2 teaspoon Nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon Allspice
2 cups Raisins
1 cup Dates (chopped)
Preparation
Mix butter and sugar till smooth and fluffy.
Add eggs one at a time, beat well. Add vanilla, mix in.
In a separate bowl whisk flour, baking soda, salt, and spices.
Add to flour, mix in well.
Fold in raisins, dates, and walnuts.
Drop on baking sheets in Tablespoon size. Bake for 10 minutes. {firm edges, soft middle]
Cool on wire racks.
