Ingredients
1 apple
16 sage leaves
6 ounces gruyere
2 teaspoons olive oil
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1 sheet puff pastry (optional)
Preparation
Preheat oven to 450.
Line baking pan with parchment, or cut out puff pastry circles approx size of apple
Slice apple into 16 1/4" slices, shred cheese
Lay out apple slices on (lightly greased) parchment, or atop pastry
Sprinkle evenly with grated cheese, top each with a sage leaf.
Bake until cheese melted. Sprinkle with sea salt
