🛒 Ingredients You’ll Need
When I make smoothie recipes, I try to stick with simple ingredients. And the ingredients for this recipe is super simple! You may even have the ingredients in your kitchen! For this raspberry smoothie, the key ingredients are strawberry Greek yogurt, a frozen banana, almond milk, and raspberries. Frozen raspberries are naturally quite tart, so adding in the banana brings some natural sweetness to even out the tart. And this one is full of raspberry flavor without being overly sweet. The hint of strawberry in the Greek yogurt pairs amazingly well with the raspberries. For the almond milk, I use unsweetened because the sweetness from the yogurt and banana are the perfect combination but you can also use sweetened or the vanilla flavored almond milk. I like a thicker smoothie so I add 3 cubes of ice and ¼ cup of water to the blender with the other ingredients. It’s the perfect addition to ensure it’s not too thick but not to thin either.
