Ingredients
1 pound Kielbasa
1 pound Pork Loin Roast
2 pounds Sauerkraut
1 Onion [minced]
1 Apple [peeled and diced]
Preparation
In a skillet, brown meat on all sides.
Cut kielbasa lengthwise then crosswise into half-moon shapes about 1 inch thick.
In a large dutch oven combine all ingredients, including the brine form the sauerkraut. Add 1 1/2 cups water.
Bring to a boil then lower to simmer, cook for 3 - 4 hours.
Shred meat into bite sized pieces. Serve with mashed potatoes. {sweet potatoes are good}
