Ingredients

1 pound Kielbasa

1 pound Pork Loin Roast

2 pounds Sauerkraut

1 Onion [minced]

1 Apple [peeled and diced]

Preparation

  1. In a skillet, brown meat on all sides.

  2. Cut kielbasa lengthwise then crosswise into half-moon shapes about 1 inch thick.

  3. In a large dutch oven combine all ingredients, including the brine form the sauerkraut. Add 1 1/2 cups water.

  4. Bring to a boil then lower to simmer, cook for 3 - 4 hours.

  5. Shred meat into bite sized pieces. Serve with mashed potatoes. {sweet potatoes are good}
