Ingredients

2 cups flour

1 tablespoon yeast

1 1/2 teaspoons sugar

3/4 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon basil - dried

2 tablespoons olive oil

3/4 cup water - warm

Preparation

Place in oiled bowl and proof in warm place for 45 minutes.

When dough has risen, punch down and knead to remove air. Roll dough into a circle between 2 sheets of parchment paper. Remove top sheet of parchment paper and place on a pizza peel.

Top with toppings as desired. Let pizza sit at room temperature for 30-60 minutes, depending on how thick you want your crust.

Preheat a pizza stone in your oven heated to 425 F.

Transfer pizza on parchment paper onto the pizza stone using the peel. Bake for 15-20 minutes depending on how many toppings you use. Pizza is done when the crust is a dark golden brown and taps a hollow sound.

Place all ingredients into a KitchenAid mixer with dough hook. Separate salt and yeast when adding. Blend and knead for 10 minutes
