Ingredients
6 tablespoons butter
1 cup flour
3/4 cup milk
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
4 cups peaches-peeled and sliced
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup sugar
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350 F. Slice butter and place into a 9x13" pan then place into the oven while it’s preheating.
Make the batter: combine the flour, 1c sugar, baking powder and 1/4t salt.
Prepare the peaches: Peel and slice peaches. Cook together with 3/4c sugar and 1/2t salt just long enough to melt sugar and be bubbly.
Remove pan with melted butter from oven. Pour batter into melted butter-don’t stir. Spoon peaches over batter-don’t stir.
Sprinkle cinnamon over batter-to taste.
Bake at 350F for 38-40 minutes.
