Ingredients
12 ounces Spaghetti or other long Pasta
4 cloves Garlic- Chopped
1/4 cup Olive Oil
1 cup Parmesan, finely grated
4 tablespoons Butter, cut in pieces
1 dash Black Pepper, Freshly Ground
Preparation
Cook pasta in pot of boiling salted water - recipe called for 3 minutes less than directions on package, I used fresh pasta which was two minutes cooking time in total.
Meanwhile cook garlic and oil until garlic is golden about four minutes over medium heat
Add 1 and 1/4 cups pasta cooking liquid along with 1 cup parm cheese and stir l cheese is melted.
Using tongs add pasta to mixture then add butter and lots of black pepper. Cook tossing until mixture is coated on pasta. Add more cooking liquid if necessary.
