Ingredients
5 pounds Chicken Wings/Drummettes
1 tablespoon Garlic, minced
2 tablespoon Cooking Oil
3 tablespoon Gochujang Chili Paste
3 tablespoon Ketchup
3 tablespoon Apple Cider Vinegar
3 tablespoon Honey
1 pinch Sesame seeds
Preparation
Salt chicken wings, spread on two wire racks above cookie sheets overnight. If you don’t have time for that, then just pat them as dry as you can, then generously salt and pepper them. .
Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees
If you want, coat wings in oil
Evenly spread chicken wings on (2) cookie sheets - no wire rack, and put in oven
Heat cooking oil in saucepan on medium low, add minced garlic. Cook unitl almost brown
Stir in rest of ingredients, taste sauce and adjust accordingly. Cover sauce.
Flip chicken every twenty minutes
Cook chicken about 45-60 minutes, until cooked through and crispy brown
Remove from oven, put chicken on cooking rack.
Check sauce, add a little water, if needed. The sauce can be thick, but not thick and dry looking.
Toss chicken and sauce in large bowl and transfer to plate/bowl to serve. Sprinkle sesame seeds to garnish.
