Ingredients

1 can 28 oz. can crushed Cento tomatoes

1 can 6 oz. can Cento tomato paste

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon olive oil

1/2 cup fresh basil shredded

2 teaspoons dried oregano or (1 tbsp. fresh)

Preparation

  1. Add 1 tbsp. olive oil to medium hot skillet with lid and heat oil for 2 minutes.

  2. Sauté garlic in pan 1 minute and add crushed tomatoes and tomato paste. Mix well.

  3. Add shredded basil, 1 tsp. salt and 1/2 tsp. ground pepper. Stir sauce, set temperature to low, partially add lid and cook 20 minutes. Stir occasionally.

  4. Turn off heat and use for any recipe calling for marinara. Buon Appetito!
