Ingredients
2 1/4 cups Flour
2 teaspoons Baking Soda
2 teaspoons Cinnamon
1 teaspoon Ginger
1 teaspoon Allspice
1 teaspoon Ground Cloves
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1/2 cup Butter
1/4 cup Shortening
1/2 cup Brown Sugar
1/2 cup Sugar
1 Egg
1/2 cup Molasses
Preparation
In small bowl mix dry ingredients. Set aside.
In large bowl cream butter, shortening and sugars. Add egg and beat until white. Stir in molasses.
Stir dry ingredients into butter mixture.
Cover and refridgerate 30 min.
Roll dough into balls and dip top into course sugar.
Bake 9-11 min @350f until tops just begin to crack.
