Ingredients
1.5 pounds ground beef
1/2 stack Club crackers 1/2 stack
1 egg
1/4 cup Milk
1 onion med size cubed
2 tablespoons Butter
1 Better Than Bullion end of spoon
2 tablespoons Ketchup
3 dashes Green Tobasco; Worcestershire
W
1/4 teaspoon Paprike, Pepper, Salt, Thyme, White Pepper
Preparation
Bring ground beef to room temperature. Drain or blot off extra moisture/water/blood.
Set oven to 375
Chop and start saute of onions with the butter till translucent/browned.
Mix together crushed crackers; all spices/herbs in bowl.
Mix wet ingredients in a cup, to disolve the Boulion. Pour wet ingredients in to bowl.
When onions are cooled, add to ground beef and mix together.
Add ground beef/onion mix to bowl. Mix gently and thoroughly.
Place gently into pan. Poke mulitple holes with your fingers.
Place in oven, bake for 60 mins.
Add to drippings: white wine; balsamic vinegar, ketchup to deglase the pan. Pour on top of meatloaf (may need to ‘poke’ holes open to allow juice into meatloaf}
place back into oven for 5 minutes.
