Ingredients

350 grams diced potato

100 grams chopped onion

300 milliliters full cream milk

30 grams unsalted butter

50 grams soft cheddar cheese

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon nutmeg powder

1 pinch cinnamon powder

1 pinch salt

1 pinch pepper

Preparation

Steam diced potato and chopped onion for 30 minutes.

Meanwhile, put salt, pepper and all herbs in the milk.

Take out steamed potatoes and onions. Steam milk for 10 minutes.

In the meantime, mash potatoes and onions with a hand masher while still hot.

Add butter to hot mashed potatoes.

Add cheese to hot mashed potatoes and mix well.

Pour in hot milk a bit at a time and stir well.
