Ingredients

1 pound margarine, softened

2 cups sugar

6 eggs, beaten

4 cups flour, sifted

2 teaspoons baking powder

2 ounces lemon extract

12 ounces pecans, chopped

Preparation

Cream margarine and sugar. Add eggs. Beat until smooth. Sift together flour and baking powder. Add to mixture with lemon extract. Blend in pecans. Pour into 2 greased and floured loaf pans. Bake at 275 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.
