Ingredients

2 cups applesauce

1/2 cup butter

2 teaspoons baking soda

1 teaspoon vanilla

3/4 cups raisins, softened in hot water

1 teaspoon cinnamon

3/4 cup chopped pecans

2 cups flour

1 1/2 cups sugar

1/4 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon ground cloves

Preparation

Heat applesauce and butter until butter is melted. Remove from heat and add baking soda and vanilla. Meanwhile, soften raisins in boiling water and drain dry. Add all dry ingredients to applesauce mixture and stir until like cornbread texture. Add nuts and raisins. Pour batter into greased and floured bundt pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes to one hour.
