Ingredients

4 1/2 cup Granulated sugar

12 ounce Evaporated milk

18 ounce Chocolate chips

10 ounce Mini marshmallows

1/2 cup Butter or margarine

1 teaspoon Vanilla

2 cup Chopped nuts (optional)

Preparation

Put sugar & milk in a large, heavy saucepan and bring slowly to a rolling boil. [note: don’t use a lid on the saucepan…it will boil over, which is a mess.]

Let boil 8 minutes.

Remove from heat and add chocolate chips, marshmallows, and butter. Beat only until chips & marshmallows are melted.

Mix in vanilla and nuts.

Spread in large ungreased pan.
