Once these sausage balls are cooked you can add them to your slow cooker and top them with a sugar-free BBQ sauce to bring to a party. No one will know these are Keto or Low Carb. That is just optional, though, giving you ideas here. 🙂  Since everyone loves the chaffle recipe and Keto is really popular right now, I present to you these easy and yummy keto sausage balls!  These sausage balls only contain 4 ingredients: almond flour, cheddar, sausage, and cream cheese. You can eat them for breakfast or throw them in some low carb marinara sauce and top them with cheese for a tasty dinner. If you’re new here welcome! My blog consists mostly of WW recipes with points on them but every now and then, I’ll throw some surprise recipes out there for other diets such as Keto or Low Carb. Most of us find ourselves eating too many carbs on certain days and tend to look for low carb recipes. Do you ever find yourself feeling guilty after eating so many carbs? Yeah, I think we all do sometimes. My format is going to change a bit on my blog but don’t worry. I’ll still post points and nutrition info. I’m just making sure I hit all the popular categories of recipes people like on this page. One post a month with certain recipes such as What I Eat in a Day (WW), Low Carb/Keto, Slow Cooker, Chicken, etc. You get the idea.

How to Make Keto Sausage Balls

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare a baking sheet. Line with a wire rack or some tinfoil. Place all ingredients into a bowl and mix well. I find that using your hands work best. Using a 1 in cooking scoop form the sausage mixture into 1 in meatballs.  Place each ball onto the baking sheet. Bake for 25 minutes at 350 degrees.Yields: 56 servings  1 net carbs (1 sausage ball)

Can I freeze Keto Sausage Balls?

The best way to freeze these keto sausage balls: Wait for the sausage balls to cool completely before placing them in a freezer bag. To reheat them, place them in the microwave for 1 to 2 minutes or until they are heated through.  You can also freeze them on a sheet pan and once they have completely froze add them to storage containers or freezer bags.

Weight Watcher Friendly Sausage Balls

For those of you who are doing WW, don’t worry. I didn’t forget about you! To make WW friendly sausage balls I would do the following. Instead of using full fat cheddar or cream cheese use a low fat or fat free kind. Use ground Sweet Italian Turkey Sausage in place of full fat sausage.  Almond flour would still be ok in these sausage balls for WW. They come to 1 smart point each for 1 ball. The recipe makes 56 balls if you use a 1 inch ice cream scoop to shape them.

What kind of dipping sauce can you use for keto sausage balls?

These sausage balls need a dipping sauce to go with them but they are also good eaten plain. Some of the dipping sauces I like to serve with these sausage balls are:

Honey Mustard - find a sugar free one such as J Hughes Ranch Dressing Sugar Free BBQ Sauce Marinara Sauce

I am just a member who likes to create WW recipes and share them with everyone. Freestyle is the name of the current program of WW and smart points are calculated for the recipes. Some blogs list them as freestyle smart points and some list them as smart points. There is no difference between the 2. 3 from 1 reviews 2 cups of cheddar cheese 1 pound of pork sausage 8 oz of cream cheese WW Freestyle Points: 1 (1 sausage ball)

How is this a WW recipe?

NO FOOD is off limits on WW and WW themselves stresses that a lot on their social media pages. That is one reason why I love WW. You can pretty much eat ANYTHING to lose weight just as long as you stay in your daily points range or are in a calorie deficit. Â
