I’ve been getting pretty good at making deviled eggs lately. We have to make them at work. The nice part about making deviled eggs at work is that the eggs come already hard boiled. No boiling necessary. Me likey. Saves a step. You could also do that as well. It took me a long time to figure out how to get hard boiled eggs right. What I do is bring the eggs to hard boil, take them off the heat and let them simmer in a covered pan for 20 minutes. After that, all you have to worry about is piping the mixture on to the eggs and making them look purty. We like to top them with dill, bacon bits, or paprika. My deviled eggs have bacon, cheddar, and scallions and they make a good low carb snack when dieting. Deviled eggs are fun to work with because they’re like a blank canvas and you can add whatever you like to them.
