Ingredients

2 tablespoons lemon juice

60 grams ginger root

30 grams lemongrass

15 grams dried chrysanthemum

5 grams dried rosemary

5 grams dried licorice slice

1500 milliliters water

150 grams soft brown sugar

Preparation

Pound peeled ginger root, coarsely chopped lemon grass, rosemary and licorice all together in a stone pounder.

Add water and pounded ingredients in a ceramic cooking pot.

Bring it to broil.

Put in dried chrysanthemum.

Cover with lit and turn down the fire. Let simmer for 5 minutes.

Turn off fire and steep for 15 minutes.

Strain the tea with a muslin bag.

Mix in sugar until dissolved.

Add lemon juice and wait for for 5 minutes before enjoy the tea.
