Ingredients

2 tablespoons flour

2 tablespoons butter

1 cup sour cream

1/2 teaspoon onion, grated

1 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon sugar

2 16 ounce cans green beans, drained

1/2 pound swiss cheese, grated

Preparation

Make a white sauce with flour, butter, and sour cream. Add onion, salt, and sugar. In buttered casserole, layer beans and cheese. Pour sauce over all. Top with bread crumbs, bacon bits, or almonds, or all of these ingredients. Bake at 350 degrees until bubbly.
