Ingredients

6 freestone peaches, halved and pitted 

Vegetable oil 

Vanilla ice cream, for serving 

Crushed amaretti or gingersnap cookies 

Flaky sea salt 

Preparation

Heat grill to high. Generously brush cut sides of peaches with vegetable oil.

Grill peaches, cut-sides down, until softened slightly and caramelized, 4 to 5 minutes. Serve topped with vanilla ice cream; sprinkle with crushed amaretti or gingersnap cookies and flaky sea salt.
