Ingredients
6 cups milk, scalded
6 eggs, beaten
1 cup sugar, carmelized
2/3 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
Preparation
Caramelize 1 ucp sugar. Add this to scalded milk. Add 2/3 cup plain sugar. Add the above mixture to the beaten eggs. Add salt and vanillla. Grease individual molds and place molds into a pan of water. Fill the molds with the custard. Bake at 325 degrees for one hour. Custard should be chilled until ready to serve.
