Ingredients
1/2 pound ground beef
2 1/2 cups beef broth
16 ounces tomatoes
1 can tomato sauce
2 onions, chopped
2 celery ribs, sliced
1 green pepper, chopped
1/2 cup frozen corn
1 tablespoon oregano
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon sugar
1 can kidney beans
Preparation
Brown ground beef in a large pot. Add beef broth. Mix all ingredients and simmer for about 25 minutes. May add salt, pepper, hot pepper, and chili powder to taste.
4 boneless chicken breasts, cooked and cut into cubes, can be substituted for ground beef.
