Ingredients

2 cups Chopped dates

6 tablespoons Margarine

2 teaspoons Baking soda

1.5 cups Chopped nuts

2 cups Sugar

3 cups Flour

2 Eggs

1/2 teaspoon Salt

2 cups Boiling water

Preparation

Mix dates, margarine and baking soda.

Pour boiling water over date mixture and cover.

Let stand until cool.

Add remaining ingredients and mix well.

Pour batter into lined or greased muffin tins.

Bake at 325 for 25 minutes, or until brown.
