Happy first day of October! This summer I wanted to go to a fair that had chocolate covered bacon but I didn’t get to any. I had heard so much about it from word of mouth. At first, I thought it would taste weird, then I thought hmmm…. savory, sweet, and salty. Salty and sweet things is a good combination so why not give it try? I’ve heard of other weird things that they make at the fair these days too. Like for instance deep fried beer. I saw a picture of it online (you can probably google it) and it was beer that had been stuffed inside a ravioli and deep fried. That to me just sounds disgusting. Beer, I don’t like at all but I will make beer bread and a beer batter for fish. Deep fried beer won’t be on my list of things to try anytime soon, but the next time you make some bacon and have any left overs try this! It is a nice sweet treat.
