Ingredients

4 pieces Whole chicken leg

1 teaspoon Black pepper

1 teaspoon Salt

1 teaspoon Herbs de provence

4 cloves Garlic, minced

2 tablespoons Onion, minced

Preparation

Dry chicken legs. Mix and rub dry ingrediants on chicken legs and let sit for 1+ hour

Preheat oven to 375 F

On medium heat on stove, add olive oil. Once hot, sautee garlic and onion for 1 minute. Add chick legs skin side down. Sear for 5-7 minutes, shifting periodically, until skin is golden brown

Flip legs and sear for another 5-7 minutes, shifting periodically. Turn off stove, add butter and crushed garlic

Put in oven on center rack. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the teperature reaches 165 F at the thickest part
