Ingredients

1 Skinless salmon fillet

3 tablespoon Fresh lemon juice

2 teaspoon Fresh dill or dill seed

1 teaspoon Montreal steak spice

1/3 cup BBQ sauce

2 clove Minced garlic

3 tablespoon Maple syrup

1/4 cup Finely diced onion

1 tablespoon Crushed peppercorns

Preparation

Soak cedar plank for 5 hours

Combine other ingredients other than salmon and let sit 1-2 hours

Brush one side of cedar plank with olive oil and sprinkle with Kosher salt. Heat BBQ med-high

Place salmon on salted side of plank, cover with some of the marinade. Place plank on BBQ. Tent with foil and baste with more marinade as needed. Remove foil when almost cooked to your liking. Add more marinade. Spray plank if it catches on fire. Total cooking time about 20 minutes
