These caramel bacon buns only contain 3 ingredients and use the help of canned biscuit dough. I like canned biscuit dough. It’s a great alternative if you don’t have the time to make homemade dough or wait for it to rise. Sure you could go ahead and make your own dough, make your own caramel sauce, and then some bacon if you have the time for that.  This recipe already is done quickly with the help of store-bought ingredients.  This recipe is ready in under 20 minutes and the buns are so easy to make if you already have precooked bacon on hand. I like to use Hormel Black Label bacon that only needs to be cooked for less than a minute in the microwave. Divide chopped cooked bacon into muffin tin cups, add the caramel sauce and then bake it in the oven. Done.

How to make Caramel Bacon Buns

Microwave or cook bacon according to package directions. When the bacon has cooled chop it into bite size pieces. Spray the muffin tin cups with nonstick cooking spray. Divide the chopped bacon evenly into each muffin tin cup. Then add the caramel sauce over the bacon. About two tablespoons for each cup. Place the canned biscuit dough on top of the bacon and caramel sauce. Bake at 350 degrees for about 12-15 minutes.  Use a fork or knife to get the buns out of the pan or flip the cupcake pan over onto a cutting board. The buns should fall right out when lifting the pan up. Serving Size: 1 caramel bun
