Ingredients

2 teaspoons Kosher salt

1 teaspoon Paprika

3/4 teaspoon Cayenne

1/2 teaspoon Onion powder

1/2 teaspoon Thyme

1/4 teaspoon White pepper

1/4 teaspoon Garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon Black pepper

1 Whole chicken

1 Onion

Preparation

Combine all spices and rub all over chicken. Let sit refrigerated overnight.

Roughly chop onion and stuff cavity.

Place chicken in baking bag. Cut a few tiny slits in bag to allow steam to escape.

Roast in 250 degree oven for 5 hours.
