Ingredients
1 cup Luke Warm Water
4 tablespoons Whole Milk
2 tablespoons Melted Butter
1 tablespoon Yeast
1 Egg
2 1/2 tablespoons Sugar
4 1/4 cups Flour
1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
1 teaspoon Onion Salt
1 teaspoon Thyme
1 Egg (for egg wash)
Preparation
Place all ingredients into the machine in the order according the the manufacturer and set on the “dough” cycle.
Pre-heat oven to 400.
When done, cut the dough into 8 pieces and shape into buns.
Place on a greased baking sheet and cut a shallow “X” into the top with a sharp knife. Let them rise for 20 min.
Brush the tops with the beaten egg.
Place a shallow baking dish with water on the bottom rack of the oven to be underneath the buns while they bake.
Bake at 400 for 15-20 minutes until tops have browned.
Cool for 15-20 minutes and Enjoy!
