Ingredients
3 Bananas, large (1 cup mashed)
1 cup Sugar
1 Egg
4 tablespoons Butter or margarine, melted and cooled
1-1/2 cups All purpose flour
1 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Baking soda
1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
1/2 cup Walnuts, chopped
1/2 cup Raisins
Preparation
Preheat oven to 325F. Lightly grease a 9 by 5-inch loaf pan. Set aside.
In a bowl, mash bananas (approximately 1 cup). Beat in sugar, then egg & butter. In another bowl, stir flour, salt, baking soda & cinnamon; add to banana mixture & stir until flour is moistened. Pour batter into prepared loaf pan.
Bake for 55-60 minutes. Makes 1 loaf.
