Ingredients
1 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon cream of tartar
1/4 cup boiling water
1 1/2 cups English walnuts
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Preparation
Mix sugar, cinnamon, cream of tartar, and boiling water and boil to 240 degrees. Don’t stir while cooking. Add walnuts. Cool a little bit. Add vanilla. Stir until the mixture sugars. Pour the sugared nuts onto foil. (10 minutes for the whole job!)
