Kitchen Remodel
Last month I did some work in my kitchen. I updated the cabinets and put in brand new laminate flooring. That really helped brighten up my kitchen. The top is an offwhite color called Ship Lap. It’s a color from Joanna Gaines paint collection. She has such beautiful paint colors. The bottom color is a light blueish grey called Dark Moon. I just loved how it turned out and hopefully remolding the kitchen helps me sell my house. My living room faces the kitchen and it’s not an open concept home like everyone wants these days, but when I look into my kitchen now I just love the colors I chose and I’m obsessed with it.

After Sorry about the messy kitchen, but this is what my kitchen looks like after lunch is made. 🙂 I actually used to hate the counter top because it didn’t go with the current colors in the kitchen, but now that I’ve made these updates everything in the kitchen goes together.
Dog Watching
The last weekend in August, I got to watch my Aunts 3 big dogs. It was a lot of work because I had my two dogs there and sometimes my Mom’s dog Charlie was there. 6 dogs total. Yikes. I decided if I wasn’t a food blogger, that I’d be a dog watcher. I just love dogs and I think going over to people’s homes and letting their dogs out would be a really awesome job.
