Ingredients
16 ounce beef brisket
3 clove garlic
1 teaspoon five spice
2 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
3 tablespoon honey
4 ounce green pepper
3 cup beef stock
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
Preparation
Mince the garlic and the green pepper.
Cut the beef brisket into bite-sized pieces.
In a pan, heat oil and sear the meat until brown and set aside.
Saute the garlic and the green pepper.
Add the seared beef and saute for a couple of minutes.
Add the soy sauce and the hoisin sauce and simmer for 1 minute.
Add the beef stock, honey, and five-spice.
Bring to a boil and simmer for 40 minutes or until fork-tender.
Add salt, pepper, and taste.
