Ingredients
1 3/4 cups sugar
1 cup cake flour sifted times 2
2 tablespoon cake flour sifted times 2
1/4 teaspoon salt
12 piece egg whites
1 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Preparation
oven @ 325 pulse sugar and remove 1 cup
add flour , salt pulse
whisk egg whites with hand mixer with cream of tartar for 1 min on low
slowly add sugar and whip until soft peaks form 5-6 min may take longer if using boxed egg whites
add vanilla
add flour, sifting into sugar mixture in 3 additions folding into egg whites
pour into ungreased angel food pan, bake 40-45 min
cool upside down for 3 hours
