TGI Friday Boneless Wings

Confession time. I am not big on air fryer frozen food. I know. I have a best selling air fryer frozen food ebook and have more than 80 air fryer frozen food recipes on the site, and you probably find that statement weird. But I love to please the readers of Recipe This, so when I get asked to make a new air fryer frozen food, I enjoy the moment, but the chances are I will rarely add the frozen food to my weekly grocery shopping list. But I walked into my Portuguese version of the Iceland frozen food chain. Which is basically an overpriced version of Iceland with crazy prices but our only option if we want UK food in Portugal. I stumbled across a new freezer range of TGI Friday foods a brand I had only ever heard of in the movie Click, but I knew was a big deal. Licking my lips, I was excited to try a range of American frozen food. Among our trolley full was TGI Friday Boneless Wings. Very expensive at 5 Euros a box but I had always heard great things about boneless wings but never had the chance to try them myself until now. I took these frozen boneless wings home and they went straight in the air fryer. Tossed them in the buffalo sauce and ate a lot more than I would usually eat. Totally hooked I went back to the Iceland and was willing to pay these crazy prices for them again. Its now started an addiction and as I am attempting to eat healthy, I am slowly weaning my way off them. Though when Dominic mentioned how much cheaper they are in the UK, I can’t wait to head over to England and have them on my Friday supper list. So, if there is just one air fryer frozen food that I want to binge eat, then its Friday’s Boneless Wings!

Can You Air Fry Boneless Wings?

Absolutely! You will have absolutely no regrets when you cook boneless wings in the air fryer. They are so crispy you have to remind yourself you are using an air fryer and not a deep fat fryer. Even better if you have a medium sized air fryer like the Philips Air Fryer XL you can easily do two batches of boneless wings at the same time.

TGI Boneless Chicken Bites

One thing I find really interesting, is the different foodie names between UK and the other side of the ocean in the USA. Or how it’s the same or similar product but because of market research they have mixed the names up. This TGI frozen chicken is a good example of this. Whilst my box is called TGI Friday Boneless Wings, I note that when you look on TGI Friday in the US they call it TGI Friday Boneless Chicken Bites. So, if you have a pack of boneless chicken bites then note, they have the same cook times and tips and tricks as these boneless wings.

How Do You Cook Frozen Boneless Wings In An Air Fryer?

TGI Friday’s Boneless Chicken Bites Cooking Instructions are one of the simplest methods of cooking in the air fryer.

Load frozen Fridays boneless chicken bites into the air fryer basket.  Air fry + enjoy!

There is a little bit more to TGI Friday boneless wings, but that is the basics.

How Long Do You Cook Frozen Boneless Wings In An Air Fryer?

The air fryer cook time for boneless chicken wings is much quicker that you would think. There is no bone taking up room in the air fryer and this allows you to cook your frozen wings even quicker. I even surprised myself when I cooked them in JUST 17 minutes. This included a medium cook at 180c/360f to ensure they were piping hot and safe to eat. Then the temperature increases to high to make sure these boneless chicken wings super crispy.

TGI Friday Boneless Wings With Buffalo Sauce

Do you have a frozen box of TGI Friday’s boneless wings and want an easy way to heat up the buffalo sauce? Maybe it is frozen solid, and you want to eat those boneless wings right now? Well, that is when my air fryer dip trick comes into play. Place your little buffalo sauce sachets into the air fryer basket when you increase the temperature up to 200c/400f. It will then warm up the dipping sauce for you and completely defrost it. Then you can open it up when the boneless wings are done and toss.
