Air Fryer Chicken Nuggets & Fries
After updating our air fryer frozen chicken nuggets recipe late last year, I was thinking that the best way to enjoy chicken nuggets in the air fryer is with a side of French fries. I grew up in the 90’s and as a 90’s kid there was nothing that featured on the after school dinner menu more than chicken nuggets and fries. Or as us Brits would call it, chicken nuggets and chips. There was something about having a plate of chicken nuggets and chips and then having something to dip into the nuggets and chips. That might be canned beans, canned spaghetti or if we were really lucky cans of spaghetti alphabet. If you had a parent that was calorie conscious, then you can guarantee that they would be oven baked, or if you had a parent that didn’t care about that kind of thing, then your chicken nuggets and chips would always be deep fried. Personally, the taste and texture of deep fried was the best and oven baked never gave the chicken nuggets a proper crisp. So, what I wanted to do today was to take the classic 90’s school dinner of chicken nuggets and chips and show you how to keep the calories at oven baked but with the crisp of deep fried.
Can You Cook Chicken Nuggets And Fries Together In Air Fryer?
Absolutely! You can cook a few different types of mains in the air fryer with fries at the same time and it’s become a thing in the Milner household. Here are a few examples of when we have done this before:

Can You Cook 2 Things At Once In Air Fryer?
Never mind two things, how about cooking three things at once in the air fryer? Because that is what we plan on doing today. We are going to be reinventing the 90’s classic with not only frozen chicken nuggets and fries, but the can of Heinz spaghetti too. You’ll notice we are mixing wet and dry ingredients here together and air frying them. This can be done with a container that is small enough to fit in the air fryer with the food. Such as us and a ramekin filled with spaghetti: You can follow the same trick and use a ramekin in your air fryer recipes or go with something different such as a silicone mould.
How Do You Make Chicken Nuggets & Fries In The Air Fryer?

Load frozen chicken nuggets and fries into the air fryer basket.Pour spaghetti into a ramekin and make room for the ramekin. Air fry + enjoy!

How Long To Air Fry Chicken Nuggets & Fries?
You will be pleased to learn that it takes JUST 15 minutes at 180c/360f to cook air fryer chicken nuggets, fries and spaghetti together. Just think you can load this into the air fryer for the kids after the school pick up and then 15 minutes later then have their dinner. There is no prep needed and its lower in calories than deep fried and easier.
