Ingredients

3 pounds tomatos

2 peeled and chopped seeded cucumbers

1 chopped green bell pepper

1 small red onion

4 garlic cloves

1/4 cup chopped italian parsley

8 basil leaves

1 teaspoon dried basil and oregano

1/2 cup virgin olive oil

1/4 cup red wine or sherry vinegar

1 1/2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

46 ounces jar tomato juice

1 teaspoon salt and pepper

1 cup finely chopped yellow pepper, chives and parsley for garnish mixed

Preparation

toss all but tomato juice

puree in blender in batches and transfer to large bowl

stir in tomato juice and season with salt and pepper

chill at least 4 hours, add garnish mix before serving
